  • At the Race for the Place MGBF had an awareness table with literature about brain cancer and our foundation.
  • Volunteers dressed as witches and the theme was “Witching H.O.P.E.” at the Broadview Heights Rec Center Trick-or-Treat. Our hopeful witches passed out goodies and awareness information to visitors.

The Michael G. Belz Foundation also launched online awareness campaigns. During the month of May (for brain cancer awareness month) facts-a-day were posted to MGBF’s Facebook page and Facebook Fans were asked to turned their profile pic to gray. In collaboration wih IBTA we created an awareness video (see below). During 2012 we “hope” to continue to reach out and educate even more people!

The MGBF asked supporters to wear gray during the week to help raise awareness and to spread H.O.P.E. and created a video for the world to see that gray matters!
